June 19th is National Martini Day. With so many new ways to make a Martini, sometimes it’s nice to go back to an old classic like the Dirty Martini.
2 1/2 ounces vodka (Bremer’s carries many vodka brands! We suggest Belvedere, Grey Goose or Skyy)
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
5 teaspoons olive brine
If you are one of the many people that truly enjoy the taste of a thin mint Girl Scout cookie – give this delicious drink recipe a try! Girl Scout cookie season may only come once a year but don’t wait a year to enjoy the taste of a thin mint. Bremer’s Wine and Liquor carries these ingredients all year around.
1 oz crème de menthe
1 oz white chocolate liqueur
2 oz chocolate-flavored vodka
1 oz half-and-half
1/2 teaspoon mint extract (optional for more minty taste)
1-2 handfuls of chocolate chips to rim glass
Crumbled Oreos or Thin Mint cookie to garnish on top
This simple yet fruity cocktail recipe from Sauza Hornitos Tequila will bring out your inner rock star this St. Patrick’s Day. Don’t worry if you are missing some of these ingredients, Bremer’s carries them all as well as alternate brands. Try it; because if you aren’t Irish, you can shamROCK-it like you are.
1 part Hornitos Plata Tequila
1 part Melon liqueur
1/2 part Triple Sec
Splash of OJ
Bring the festivities of Mardi Gras to your home! Serve these fun and delicious Mardi Gras shots during your Fat Tuesday celebration. Are you looking for an idea for a themed party? Think “Mardi Gras” and serve these! These shots are bound to taste as colorful and lively as they look! This recipe will take about 10 minutes to prep and 3 hours to make. Serves 12.
12 glass or plastic shot glasses (2 oz.)
1 3/4 cup prepared lemonade
4 envelopes plain gelatin
1 1/4 cups cake-flavored vodka
2 teaspoons sweetened condensed milk (up to 4 tablespoons can be used to sweeten to taste)
3 bowls (one for each color)
1 Gushers™ candy (optional*)
Liquid food coloring
1 tube Betty Crocker™ ready-to-spread vanilla frosting (for rims)
Decorating sugars in purple, yellow and green (for rims)
Edible silver glitter (for between layers — optional)

We stumbled upon this great recipe from the blog of Mr. and Mrs. P. for the French Kiss Martini. They way we see it, with a name like “French Kiss”- it must be unforgettable! This recipe makes 2. So you can make one for yourself, and one for yourself…or you can share the second. You decide!
1 oz vodka
1 oz Chambord (raspberry liqueur)
1/2 oz Cointreau (orange liqueur)
It’s appropriate to have a go-to drink for a blustery Northern New York snow day; one for the children that can easily be modified for the parents.
