Chateau Cap de Faugeres 2010

$26.99 750 ML

“The 2010 vintage is characterized by very intense colour and a rich range of aromas thanks to the wide day-night temperature variations. The 2010 Cap de Faugères wines have a solid tannic structure, with great elegance and vivacity. The finish is long, on lingering fruit notes.”-Chateau Cap de Faugeres

“Plump and enticing, with a mouthwatering anise note that pulls you in quickly before delivering waves of blueberry, açaí berry and plum fruit, followed by bouncy spice and floral notes that add lift and length to the finish.” -Wine Spectator>/em>

“The 2010 Cap de Faugeres, a blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon from one of the better sections of the Cotes de Castillon known as Sainte-Colombe, was bottled unfined and unfiltered by consultant Michel Rolland. It tips the scales at 14.5% alcohol and displays kirsch, black currant, licorice and smoky charcoal/barbecue notes. Medium to full-bodied, lush and very sexy already, this sleeper of the vintage is soft enough to be drunk now or can be cellared for up to a decade. Bravo! ” -Wine Advocate
