Easy Easter Brunch Cocktails

There is something about Easter that makes it an exceptionally brunch-worthy holiday. Maybe because it’s on a Sunday, and maybe because it’s spring and time to come out of hibernation, but regardless of the why, the fact remains that it’s a holiday perfectly suited for low-key celebration.

Not Your Everyday Mimosa

The mimosa is one of the most popular brunch cocktails, and not just at Easter, but try these variations for something extra special.

If you enjoy citrus, and want a little extra zing, try champagne with ruby red grapefruit juice.

The Bellini, made with champagne and peach nectar (or juice) is a treat to see, smell, and taste.

Strawberry purée and sparking wine make delicious Strawberry Champagne.

Easter Agaves

If you’re not in the mood for sparkling wine, a Tequila Sunrise might brighten your day. Add ice to a Collins glass (or other tall glass), then add 3 parts tequila and 6 parts orange juice to the glass. Finally, add 1 part grenadine syrup, which will sink to the bottom. Stir gently and enjoy!

For a no-fuss tequila cocktail, mix tequila with grapefruit soda and a squeeze of lime – instant Paloma!

Don’t forget about Bloody Mary’s cousin Bloody Maria – take your favorite Bloody Mary recipe and substitute tequila for the vodka for that unique tequila earthiness.

Fresh Martini Flavors

The availability of flavored vodkas make fruity, but not too sweet, martinis a breeze to make (and even easier to drink).

A Limoncello Martini will bring sunshine to your brunch table, even if the weather is overcast.

This Ginger-Pear Martini has only four ingredients but will taste like you took a mixology course.

Every holiday meal deserves a delicious dessert, and sometimes that dessert needs to be a Key Lime Martini.

The Fuzzy Navels I used to prefer in college have grown up. If you have a soft spot for super-sweet cocktails, try the Fuzzy Martini.

It may not be a martini, but the Screwdriver is among the easiest of brunch cocktails – two parts orange juice, one part vodka, garnish with a cherry, and you’re good to go!

And finally, is it really an Easter cocktail if you can’t garnish it with a Marshmallow Peep? Here’s your ultimate Easter Martini.
