March 2014 – If You See Kay Red Blend 2011

if you see kayMarch’s staff pick was selected by Bremer’s employee Taylor Bremer. Taylor is part of the fifth generation of Bremer’s to work at Bremer’s Wine and Liquor and has been a full time employee for three years. Not only does Taylor like the eye-catching label artwork on this Italian red wine, but the wine itself is very easy to drink.

“The If You See Kay red wine pours a devilishly dark, deep blood red that verges on becoming black. Take and sip and she hits you with a bold and sensual combination of dry raspberries, juicy blackberry jam, plums, zesty cocoa nibs, and a bit of spice and rock ‘n roll attitude with moderate tannins and a pleasing acidity,” states the Winemaker. “The graphic image of Kay [on the label] as a tattooed woman on a motorcylce perfectly captures the “wide-open throttle” approach to winemaking.” This wine would make for perfect conversation at any gathering.

If You See Kay is available at Bremer’s Wine and Liquor for $19.99.
