Bremer’s May staff pick of the month has been chosen by employee, Wieslaw Mamon. Wieslaw worked with Heritage Wines for 10 years until Bremer’s acquired Heritage in 1999. He has been an employee of Bremer’s now for 15 years and has tried many wines over his lengthy 25+ years of involvement in the wine and liquor industry.
Wine Spectator has rated this wine with 89 points describing it as “a ripe and sinewy red, with dark plum, dried cherry and black currant flavors, featuring some tarry notes. Mocha and spice details show on the broad finish. Has power in reserve. Drink now through 2016. 45,000 cases made. –KM”.
