B Side Pinot Noir – 750ML

WS 88
WE 86
TP 91

Our roots trace back to an authentic place. B Side wines are rare, unconventional and often lesser known. We follow a rhythm no one else can hear separating our wines from others with smooth, soulful palates and perfectly tuned notes. B Side is a complex wine, made simply. For those who know the difference.

Tasting Notes

The B Side Pinot Noir is a true, ruby red in the glass with vibrant aromas of strawberry, cranberry, rose petal, and brewed black tea. The palate is fresh with loads of red fruit, mushroom, soy, and pomegranate flavors. The wine is distinctively coastal in style with cooler climate characteristics including complex flavors of forest floor and spice and with bright acidity that heightens the texture and length. The wine is aged exclusively in French oak for 12 months with 30% of the blend in new barrels (Dargaud et Jaegle & Remond Allier) while the remaining portion of the blend (70%) is in seasoned, one- to two-year-old barrels.

Wine Spectator

88 points // Lots of dried rose petal notes accent the cherry tart, dark plum and blueberry flavors. Dried beef and mineral details linger on the spicy finish. Drink now through 2022. 8,215 cases made.

Tasting Panel

91 points // Fresh, juicy, and bright with lively acidity, notes of tart cherry, and a touch of vanilla and oak. Silky texture with a racy style and fine balance; from Don Sebastiani.

Wine Enthusiast

86 points // This full-bodied wine is strongly influenced by smoky, toasted oak aromas and flavors that compete with its black-cherry fruitiness for attention. It has a full body, firm tannins and a slightly astringent texture. - Jim Gordon
