Dark ruby center with violet and crimson hues at the edge. Aromas are led by vibrant, ripe red cherry and cranberry compote. Dusty red earth and wild sage also come to mind, with a kiss of iodine and plenty of red flowers. The palate is fleshy, juicy, and directional, with great energy and persistence. While harmonious at this point, you can expect the layers of this classic Rioja expression to unfurl over the next few years. Drink now–2033.
