Finca La Celia was born in 1882, year in which Eugenio Bustos, its founder, decides to move south of the river Tunuyan in order to develop an estate which, among other things, had a low altitude pass that bordered the neighboring Republic of Chile. This pass was used to herd cattle to the port of San Antonio. The construction of the winery starts in 1890, being the first one to settle in the Uco Valley. Later, Celia Bustos, Eugenio´s daughter, inherited the property. She, with her strong personality and leadership, works these lands, converting them into prosperous vineyards. In 2000, Finca La Celia was acquired by the Vina San Pedro Tarapaca Wine Group, leading company in the wine business both in Chile and Argentina. Thus, the winery has been expanded, renovated and equipped with state of the art technology made in France and Italy, combining classical architecture and modern machinery.
The Cabernet expression is a nice partner in this Malbec blend which offers stirring flavours of mint, fresh herbs, red berries and bitter chocolate. Drink now.
