Dow’s LBV is full-bodied, rich but perfectly balanced with soft peppery tannins and with a fine acidity that ensure perfect balance on the palate. The classic Dow’s dry finish is always present in the house’s LBV; it is one of the finest LBV Ports available.

Serving Suggestion

Delicious with cheese, nuts or dark chocolate. Ready to drink, no need to be decanted. Once opened, if kept at a cool temperature, will retain its freshness for up to a month.

The style of the Port, as always with Dow's, is on the dry side, giving structure as well as pure dried fruits and tannins. That suggests this LBV could age.
