Tasting Notes
The vibrancy and balance of this 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a reflection of the long, warm growing season in which it was grown. With its attractive red garnet color and aromas of fresh red cherry, raspberry and blackberry, the wine is immediately attractive on the palate. With well-integrated oak to enhance the polished tannins in the wine, this Cabernet is well-balanced, with a luxurious texture that extends throughout the long, aromatic finish.
Winemaking Information
Coordination between winery and vineyard allowed us to harvest, sort and process ripe Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot under excellent conditions. We drained and pressed the new wine and aged it with oak chosen to enhance its natural identity. We bottled when we felt ideal balance had been achieved.
90% Cabernet Sauvignon (North Coast, Central Coast), 10% Merlot (Rutherford, Napa Valley)
