Moët Impérial is the House’s iconic champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies Moët & Chandon’s unique style, a style distinguished by its bright fruitiness, its seductive palate and its elegant maturity.
Tasting Notes
The color is an elegant golden straw yellow with amber highlights. Its aromas are radiant, revealing bright yellow-fleshed fruits (apple, pear, yellow peach), honey, floral nuances (lime blossom) and elegant blond notes (brioche and fresh nuts). The palate is seductive, richly flavorful and smooth combining generosity and subtlety, fullness and vigor, followed by a delicately fresh crispiness (fruit with seeds), to reveal the magical balance of Champagne.
Winemaking Information
Created from more than 100 different wines, of which 20% to 30% are reserve wines specially selected to enhance its maturity, complexity and constancy, the assemblage reflects the diversity and complementarity of the three grapes varietals: - The body of Pinot Noir 30-40%, - The suppleness of Pinot Meunier 30-40% - The finesse of Chardonnay 20-30%
Serving Suggestion
Moët Impérial can be served throughout the meal, from aperitif to dessert and pairs perfectly with sushi, scallops, oysters, white fish, white meats and white fruits.
