Tasting Notes
Our 2018 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with rich aromas of Crème de Cassis and bergamot tea with hints of vanilla wafer and cocoa powder. The palate is rich and concentrated with flavors of blackberry fruit, Cabernet spice and dried herbs. Bright berry fruit and a subtle sweetness from the oak linger on the finish. Th e tannin's are ripe and round; a cording early drinkability as well as great aging potential.
Rated 90 points by Decanter: With fruit sourced from vineyards on the north side of the Alexander Valley, there is real decadence here: ripe blackberry meets sweet spice, plus dense notes of cocoa, black tea and herbal undertones. French oak provides vanilla spice and tannins and encourages an almost sweet finish.
