Tasting Notes
Gorgeous medium garnet red. Blueberries, crushed olives and earth are forefront on the nose with a very subtle oak cigar box complexity. The mouthfeel is soft, with a pencil lead angularity, reminiscent of classic claret styling. Flavors of cherry, earth, blue fruits are framed by a tension of natural acidity. A nice weight to the mouth.

Serving Suggestion
Perfect to enjoy with many types of cuisines.
89 points || Always a great value, the 2018 CMS Red Blend delivers lots of character as well as complexity in its ripe red fruits, cedarwood, leather, and subtle herbal notes. It has some savory tannins as well as some overt American oak, but it works. A blend of 76% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Syrah, it would be a great mid-week drinker to enjoy over the coming 3-4 years.
